Product Overview
FreezeGard is a non glycol antifreeze and deicer formulated for HVAC coil winterization and freeze protection during seasonal layup. It protects down to extremely low temperatures without promoting microbial growth or metal corrosion and is biodegradable, non hazardous, and safe for multi metal HVAC systems.
FreezeGard is used at full strength during the winter period and can be drained and reclaimed for reuse until dilution lowers the freeze protection below required temperatures. It helps eliminate lengthy flushing procedures commonly associated with glycol systems and reduces corrosion risks in chilled water loops and air handling coils.
FreezeGard can also be used as a fast acting deicer by applying the product neat with a sprayer. It does not decompose into corrosive acid by-products and remains stable over long storage periods.
