Product Overview

HydroShield XP is a corrosion inhibitor designed for process water loops, including systems with open tanks or open pits. It is suitable for industrial operations such as plastic molding, welding, metal processing, and other process water applications where the water may be exposed to air, bacteria, and airborne contamination.

HydroShield XP helps protect iron, steel, copper, brass, and aluminum from corrosion. It is non-foaming, stable in hard water, and can protect carbon steel in low conductivity water, including deionized water.

Unlike nitrite-based corrosion inhibitor blends, HydroShield XP does not promote microbial growth. It is part of the HydroShield line of non-regulated, non-hazardous corrosion inhibitors for HVAC closed loops, process water, hydrotesting, and hydronic system lay-up.
