Product Overview

ScaleSolv® is a biodegradable carbonate descaler formulated for safe and effective removal of scale in industrial water systems. It works on galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, brass, plastics, fiberglass, and more while protecting the integrity of sensitive metals. The formula uses weakly dissociated organic acids combined with the CorroShield® inhibitor package to dissolve heavy carbonate deposits with far lower corrosion risk than traditional acid cleaners.

Unlike hydrochloric acid or urea hydrochloride based descalers, ScaleSolv® operates at a higher pH and is non corrosive, non regulated for shipping, and safe to handle. It dissolves 2.5 to 3.0 pounds of calcium carbonate per gallon and features a built-in buffer system to help prevent over neutralization during waste handling. ScaleSolv® is third-party verified biodegradable and does not harm wastewater treatment microbiology.
